Amanda Knox

I have not read much about what kind of help the U.S. provided to Amanda Knox. It certainly does not seem from what I have read that there was much hard evidence to convict her. Every time I read a story about an American getting into trouble in another country it seems their families have a difficult time getting details and help. What are the American Consultates doing to help Americans living in foreign countries?
